We’re halfway there!

Late yesterday, Nevada became the 19th state to call for a constitutional amendment to overturn the U.S. Supreme Court’s abominable Citizens United ruling — bringing us halfway to the number of states needed to ratify an amendment.This is an achievement that skeptics labeled impossible when our movement for a constitutional amendment launched the day Citizens United came down in 2010.Now it’s time to step on the accelerator.
Tell Congress: Pass a constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United. Add your name now. There is very little divide between Republicans, Democrats and Independents on this issue.Americans know that Big Money is rotting away the foundation of our democracy and blocking an economic populist agenda that people of all political stripes desperately want.Across the country, we’re making our local and state elected officials listen.
It’s past time for Congress to hear our rallying cry for a constitutional amendment — and to act. Sign our petition urging Congress to pass a constitutional amendment overturning Citizens United immediately.
We won’t be stopped, and we will prevail.
