Soon after his election, Donald Trump threatened to let Obamacare fail, saying, “Let it be a disaster, because we can blame that on the Democrats … Let it implode, then let it implode in 2018 even worse … Politically, it would be a great solution.”
Since then, Trump has taken major steps to undermine Obamacare in three big ways:
- He directed his administration to loosen enforcement of the requirement that everyone have health insurance
- He pulled ads promoting health insurance enrollment
- He’s creating major uncertainty in the insurance market, causing premium costs to spike
While the Senate considers repealing Obamacare, Trump is trying behind the scenes to sabotage our health care system and force through his ideological repeal plan. We can’t let that happen. The leaks coming out of Washington have turned into a flood and Democrats and even some Republicans are doing everything in their power to take down the President. If you can't tell by now, this is what we're up against... and we can't drain the swamp fast enough. The political elites in Washington are actively sabotaging the President day-in and day-out. They're trying to oust him to protect their way of life. Why else do you think President Trump's every move is being leaked every hour by rogue staffers and Obama era holdovers?
