Szanowni Państwo,
„Malowany Ptak” to kłamstwo wiecznie żywe, tym razem przybrało formę przedstawienia w ramach kooperacji Teatru Polskiego w Poznaniu i Teatru Żydowskiego w Warszawie.

Protestujemy!

Respected friends,

Our environment depends on a strong democracy.
Don't let Trump undermine it -- demand an independent investigation into his ties to Russia!

Yesterday was a dark day for American democracy.
Donald Trump abruptly fired FBI Director James Comey. Comey was leading the investigation into Russia’s interference in the election. Now, Trump will install one of his cronies to replace Comey. He’ll undermine the results of any investigation into his collusion with Russia -- unless Congress steps in. Tell Congress: Stop Trump’s attacks on our democracy. Demand an independent investigator to investigate Trump’s ties to Russia!
Since Day 1 of his presidency, Trump has sought to undermine our core democratic values.  He refuses to release his tax returns. He relentlessly attacks the media. And he’s filling his administration with enablers like Exxon CEO Rex Tillerson and Jeff Sessions -- who have tried to play down their own ties to Russia. Now that Trump has fired Comey, there’s no independent investigator left to take a hard look at Trump’s potential corruption. The last time a president so brazenly attacked an independent investigator was Richard Nixon’s Saturday Night Massacre. The Watergate scandal pushed our system of checks and balances to the breaking point. Trump’s attempt to cover up potential collusion with the Russian government might be even worse. This goes beyond partisan politics. The only way for the American people to get answers we can trust is with an independent, nonpartisan investigation. Sign the petition calling for an independent investigation into Russian interference in our election! We’ve seen it all around the world -- when strongman leaders take over and corruption runs rampant, people and the planet suffer. If we want to defend and expand our environmental protections, we need a strong and healthy democracy. We can’t let Trump undermine it.This is a defining moment for your Senators. Will they fight back in the face of corruption? Will they stand up to Trump? Or will they let him run roughshod over our core governing principles while they stand by and do nothing? If people like you stay silent, your Senators will cave to their political instincts, and Trump will get away with attacking our system of government. So we need you to demand that they defend our democracy from Trump’s worst authoritarian instincts.
Tell your Senators: Don’t let Trump undermine our democracy.

Erich Pica,

Exxon Mobil is trying to sue a small city in Maine into giving up. They're fighting to keep tar sands oil off their shores, and if Exxon Mobil win, we ALL lose.
Will you chip in $10 to help their fight?
If you've saved your payment information with SumOfUs, your donation will go through immediately:
RESPECTED FRIENDS,

In 2014, the residents of the small city of South Portland, Maine, won an incredible victory: They defeated Exxon Mobil.
South Portland's grassroots campaigners showed a true victory for people over profit. Now Big Oil is suing the city -- and their strategy is to spend this small town into submission by running up massive legal bills.South Portland can win the lawsuit, but they need help paying the bills to keep up the battle. Will you chip in $10 to SumOfUs and the South Portland Clear Skies Defense Fund?If you've saved your payment information with SumOfUs, your donation will go through immediately:

A subsidiary of Exxon had attempted to build a tar sands export terminal -- the last step in a pipeline to transport tar sands oil from Alberta to the shores of the world famous Casco Bay.But South Portland fought back, launching a grassroots campaign that resulted in the passage of the Clear Skies Ordinance, effectively stopping Exxon in its tracks.Passing the Clear Skies Ordinance, which prohibits the loading of crude oil in the South Portland harbor, was no small feat. In standing up to Exxon, the people of South Portland went up against Big Oil's unlimited funds and power. The residents of South Portland didn't want an aging pipeline running through the drinking water of 20% of Maine’s population, and they didn’t want toxic fumes from the terminal's smokestacks to pollute their air. Hundreds of hours of town hall meetings and campaigning by grassroots activists convinced the city council to pass the Clear Skies Ordinance, 6-1.But now the town is being sued for interfering in oil industry business -- and the lawsuit is not only funded by Exxon Mobil, but is also joined by huge corporate lobby groups, such as the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the American Petroleum Institute.South Portland, a small city of just 25,000 residents, has already spent $1 million on fighting the suit. The Clear Skies Defense Fund has raised an additional $135,000, but they are going to need much more to see the case through and to defend South Portland’s right to keep oil off its shores. This is a classic example of how big corporations bully local communities and overturn the will of the people. We can't allow the ordinance to be overturned and hand a victory to Exxon Mobil. Will you chip in $1 today? Your donation will be split between the Clear Skies Defense Fund and SumOfUs to continue the fight against tar sands oil pipelines. If you've saved your payment information with SumOfUs, your donation will go through immedia

Thanks for all that you do,
Kat and the team at SumOfUs

Make America Green Again bumper sticker
Respected friends,

Trump has released a list of 27 iconic national monuments up for "review" under the Antiquities Act -- the first step toward stripping these natural wonders of protections.
The list is shocking:
Berryessa Snow Mountain, CA
Canyons of the Ancients, CO
Carrizo Plain, CA
Cascade Siskiyou, OR
Craters of the Moon, ID
Giant Sequoia, CA
Gold Butte, NV
Grand Canyon-Parashant, AZ
Grand Staircase-Escalante, UT
Hanford Reach, WA
Ironwood Forest, AZ
Mojave Trails, CA
Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks, NM
Rio Grande del Norte, NM
Sand to Snow, CA
San Gabriel Mountains, CA
Sonoran Desert, AZ
Upper Missouri River Breaks, MT
Vermilion Cliffs, AZ
Katahdin Woods and Waters, ME
Marianas Trench, Pacific Ocean
Northeast Canyons and Seamounts, Atlantic Ocean
Basin and Range, NV
Bears Ears, UT
Pacific Remote Islands, Pacific Ocean
Papahanaumokuakea, HI/Pacific Ocean
Rose Atoll, American Samoa/Pacific Ocean

The world's largest tree. A stunning desert landscape home to thousands of Native American petroglyphs. A mammoth ocean of lava flows. A magnificent mountain range drawing thousands of hikers and snowboarders every year.
These are iconic American treasures to be respected and protected. But to Donald Trump? They're just clumps of trees and piles of rocks, up for grabs by the highest bidder to log, drill and mine
We need your help to stop him. We'll mobilize our grassroots and put pressure on Congress to fight this attempt at undermining the Antiquities Act -- but we can't do it without your help.Make a monthly donation to help us raise awareness among decision-makers in Washington and mobilize the grassroots. Your emergency monthly gift will help us stop Trump from selling off our monuments to his Big Energy pals. A generous donor will chip in $50 for every signup. We'll send you our "Make America Green Again" bumper sticker -- FREE. Trump has gone too far. These beloved monuments won't placate environmental parasites like the Koch brothers. If they destroy these, who knows what they'll go after next.Trump would be the first president in history to revoke a national monument's status -- emphasis on "would be," because we're not going to let him get away with it.We're working with everyone from public officials to tribal organizations to environmental groups to faith leaders to oppose the administration's attacks on the Antiquities Act, which would hurt local communities in addition to the natural treasures on Trump's chopping block. And Americans are with us: a recent poll by Colorado College showed that 80% of western voters support keeping existing national monuments protections in place. So we've got a critical mass, we've got a mobilization plan, now we just need the money to pull it all together and stop Trump from ransacking the sacred American places we love. Please, help us save these majestic forests, mountains and rivers with your emergency monthly gift now.Rush your emergency monthly gift of $5 or more to the Sierra Club now and have your gift MATCHED with $50. We can't save our precious national monuments from Trump and the Kochs without your help.

Thank you for all you're doing to save what truly makes America great.
Onward,
Michael Brune
