Enjoy the rest of this beautiful day while you can, New Yorkers... it looks like tomorrow is going to be frosty.
But NOTHING will be keeping us from this Sunday's Food Truck Festival on the Upper West Side.
ICYMI, women and their allies rallied at Washington Square Park yesterday and it was seriously poppin'.
A new study shows that if you're feeling like bae might have someone on the side... statistically, you're probably right.
It can be hard out there for a New Yorker tryin' to find love, especially since NYC's soundtrack is uh, less than super sexy.
Try NOT staying in next date night, because there are a bunch of actually amazing live music events this month.
House-hunting? We have discovered some new information about the elusive no-fee apartment.
Starbucks has reached peak pretentiousness, and now serves whiskey barrel-aged coffee... of course, we wanna try it. TOO BAD THEY'RE ONLY SERVING IT IN SEATTLE.
But on the bright side, the chocolate museum in SoHo is officially open– meet us there!
Big Love
New York is number one, right?

Sure, unquestionably, for partying... and polyamory.

We didn’t learn so much about ourselves with this survey, but it’s reaffirmed everything we already knew.

Namely, that even with 33 percent of New Yorkers being down for sharing bods, only 3 percent of New Yorkers are happy with the dating scene.

But wait, take this consolation prize! A whole 4% of those polled said love is easy to find in the Big Apple.

And, uh...we’re very accepting! More than any other city, in fact! And there’s so many people, you can’t help but bump into true love.

Right?

Guys? READ MORE…

Hear Us Roar
You probably heard about (or participated in) ‘A Day Without a Woman,’ the strike that happened world-wide yesterday in honor of International Women’s Day.

The event was organized as a follow up to the Women’s March that occurred back in January.

In New York City, women and their allies took to Washington Square Park, where photographer Brandon John took their photos and talked to them about why they had come out to the event.

The photo series is truly beautiful, and us much as us writers hate to say it, in this case, a picture is worth a thousand words. READ MORE…

Nomster Trucks
By now you’ve probably heard: NYC food trucks are coming out of hibernation soon.

This Sunday, March 12th, marks the beginning of the season with the NYC Food Truck Fest, sponsored by Grand Bazaar NYC and The New York Food Truck Association.

Over a dozen trucks will be parked at 100 W 77th Street from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., including the likes of Luke’s Lobster and STUF’D.

Start food truck season off right. See you Sunday! READ MORE…

Baby Got Bach
We realize it’s only March, but festival season is rapidly approaching, and you’ve totes got to prep your palate.

Why not mix it up from the major name headliners and two hour port-a-potty lines you’ll be experiencing at Firefly this summer, and try something new?

Get a immersive orchestra experience at the symphony, and at a live Harry Potter screening. Or have a classy jazzy lunch. Or be the first to discover that next big pop artist at the Apollo.

New York’s musical line up is way more eclectic than Bonnaroo– you know it and we know it. READ MORE…

Golden Ticket
WELL I DON’T KNOW ABOUT YOU BUT I’M FEELIN’ LUCKIER THAN CHARLIE WITH THE GOLDEN TICKET.

That’s because Willy Wonka isn’t real, but you know what is? The Museum of Chocolate, now open in Manhattan.

"Choco-Story New York: The Chocolate Museum and Experience with Jacques Torres" opened in Torres’ SoHo store, and offers visitors an inside look at the Mayan and Aztec origins of chocolate, and the process of transforming a cacao bean into a chocolate bar.

Okay and more importantly, yes, there will be chocolate tastings. Thank god. READ MORE…

Bottoms Up
Don’t get too excited, you’re gonna need a plane ticket out west to check this one off your bucket list: whiskey barrel-aged coffee.

And what company would introduced this concept other than the one and only ‘Starbucks.’

The Barrel Aged Cold Brew and Barrel Aged Con Crema are available only at the brewery’s Pike Street location in Seattle.

We felt a little better about missing out when we learned that all the alcohol content of the whiskey is lost during the roasting process. READ MORE…

Night Moves
Spoiler Alert: It’s not DeAngelo (who is in fact very sexy, and highly recommended for your sexy time playlist if he’s not already on there).

We’re talking about those unavoidable ambiance sound effects that come along with the unique New York experience.

The noisy price you pay to live in the city that never sleeps, even when you’re not sleepin’ if ya know what I’m sayin’.

True privacy is a luxury no New Yorker can afford, since we can’t afford to not have three roommates at any given time.

Enjoy our list of not-so-sexy soundtracks that you already know about, because EVERY New Yorker has to deal with them. READ MORE…

Pro-Tips
Anyone who’s been apartment hunting knows that it’s about a whole lot more than cheap monthly rent.

You have to factor in a security deposit, and a lot of times paying first and last month’s rent before you even move in!

While there is no real way around these factors, there are other fees that add up that you can avoid.

We're stepping in to help you out with finding an NYC apartment without a broker’s fee (which is essentially the real estate agent’s commission).

Finding a no-fee apartment could be the best savings move for those looking to live in such an expensive city– but like most things in NYC, it's easier said that done. READ MORE…

Kako to kardinal Wuerl brani Amoris Laetitia?

by Robert
