On your charter yacht holiday in Croatia, make sure to visit the historic town of Šibenik located in central Dalmatia, where the river Krka flows into the sea. Interesting fact: Šibenik is the first Croatian city founded by Croats.

shutterstock_sibenik_134052848-large

While strolling through the streets of this wonderful small town, you will feel history at every step. Not to mention the central church in Šibenik, the Cathedral of St. James, is on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Šibenik also has four fortresses offering stunning views of the city and the coastline.

Panorama of Palaiokastritsa. Corfu, Greece.

There are also two national parks in this area: Kornati and Krka. National Park Kornati is the densest archipelago in the Mediterranean consisting of about 150 small islands, perfect for island hopping. On the other hand, National Park Krka is famous for its numerous mesmerizing waterfalls.

Town of Corfu, Greece

At the entrance of the Krka National Park, there is a picturesque town of Skradin. This charming little town is a popular sailing stop, but also offers the peace and harmony of the Visovac Monastery and the amazing Skradinski Buk waterfall.

With so much beauty and history surrounding it, Šibenik definitely deserves a visit during your sailing holiday, so book your yacht and sail away!

An Israeli man narrowly escaped a lynch mob which had formed near the town of Tekoa in eastern Gush Etzion, south of Jerusalem, over the weekend. On Saturday, Arabs in the Gush Etzion region held a funeral for an Arab terrorist who was eliminated while attempting to stab an IDF soldier. Shortly after the funeral service, dozens of local Arabs set up a makeshift roadblock on Route 60, the primary north-south traffic artery in Judea and Samaria. Holding cement blocks, bricks, and rocks, dozens of masked terrorists inspected passing Arab vehicles for any Jewish passengers, and attacked vehicles bearing Israeli license plates. Even an armored police jeep came under assault, and was forced to call up the IDF for backup.
