Daily Kos is the go-to place for progressives to get their news, with more than 46 million people coming to us to read breaking news, progressive editorial content, and cutting edge electoral analysis so far this year. That sort of audience gives Daily Kos a deeper reach into the anti-Trump resistance than almost any other organization on the left, and puts us in a position to hold Democrats in line against Trump's extremism, and mobilize readers to help elect more Democrats up and down the ballot. It has made us, as one Roll Call columnist noted, "an undeniable force in the resistance to Trump's America."
We've set big goals for ourselves this year so that we could expand Daily Kos and mobilize our readers to action like never before. To turn Daily Kos into the a media-activism force for the left that could rival Fox News (without all the rapiness!) on the right.
About one-third of our revenue comes from readers like you—we literally could not do the work that we do without you. But here's the thing: Our readership tends to ebb in the summer, and reader contributions tend to do the same. We built that lull into our budget, but we need to raise $600,000 this month to expand Daily Kos and make this vision a reality.

So, what are we going to do with your money? How exactly are we are grow Daily Kos? Here's how:
The first thing we're doing is bringing on a new director of finance, since we need new more behind-the-scenes support to help manage future growth.
At the same time, we have to significantly beef up our technology team, which has been doing a superhuman effort to support a site with traffic hitting peaks surpassing 20 million unique visitors and 100 million pageviews a month. We’re updating our site infrastructure for both speed, flexibility, and security (a very high priority in the age of Russian interference, WikiLeaks, and who knows what other nefarious actors), new feature requests, a new front page, and all sorts of cool projects so many of you want to see.
Currently, our understaffed admin and tech teams are the biggest bottlenecks for Daily Kos, and staffing them up is our top priority. From there, we we'll add more writers to our editorial team so that we better represent and feature the amazing voices in our movement. We'll beef up our activism team to fight back against GOP not just in DC, but at the state and local level. And we'll turn Daily Kos ito the premier progressive media and activism platform on the left.

Muslim Arabs stone Jewish car near Binyamin-region town of Ofra, lightly injuring two Jewish children.
Groups of Muslim Arabs have been ambushing Israeli civilians while they're driving through Judea and Samaria and hurling rocks at them aiming to kill those in the cars.
They also set up a roadblock made of rocks and burning tires. This meant to trap the Israeli civilian drivers in a different road in an attempt to lynch them with rocks.

The girl speaking: "The Arab threw a rock at me, a big rock, and it hit the window..."
the little boy: "Did you see what happened to our car, daddy? look at me. I have pieces of glass here..."
