You’ve heard me write about it a hundred times! Words are used to describe it like “apocalyptic” … “terrifying” … “spectacular.” And I especially like this one: “The sun danced in the sky!” These descriptions are all well and good, but Stjepan, we are living in a video age where a picture is truly worth 1,000 words. So I went looking for something and found a video that is not perfect but one which will give you some idea, according to the descriptions of the live witnesses, of what the Miracle of the Sun was like. I want you to feel as if you were there in Fatima, 100 years ago. I noticed that this video contains some inaccuracies as to the message. It mixes parts of the message from previous apparitions with the last.
But in watching it, I was impressed myself and it gave me a better idea of what it must have been like so I thought I would share it with you. You have never seen events depicted on a screen. Anything you have seen with your own eyes was actually happening at that very moment…There is no such thing as “special effects” or “computer animation.”There is just raw, unedited
REALITY.That is the way the three seers experienced this miracle. That is the way over 70,000 people crowded into the Cove da Iria experienced it, as they stood there covered in mud and drenched with rain.That is how an estimated 30,000 others in the surrounding countryside experienced the Miracle of the Sun. And that, my friend, is how I want you to experience this miracle of Biblical proportions as you watch this short video clip. On that marvelous day, the sun became a globe of fire, seeming to tremble, shake, and then plunge in a zigzag toward a terrified crowd. All this lasted about ten minutes. It is no wonder people began to confess their sins out loud, convinced that the world was coming to an end, and with it their very lives… 100 years later, you and I know better. October 13, 1917, was not the end of the world, but the beginning of an age in which Our Lady of the Rosary would ask for Prayers, Penance and Conversion. And with our pitiful response to her request she would build a new era—one I like to call “The Reign of Mary.” (I am borrowing from St. Louis de Montfort, here!) She promised that “Finally, my Immaculate Heart will triumph.” I don’t know when “Finally” will be – no one but God and Mother Mary know that – but we have our marching orders.
Let’s not let another 100 years go by without heeding Our Lady’s gentle call to PEACE for the World.IMPORTANT: Tomorrow, October 14th, at 12:00 noon over 211,000 Rosary rallies will be taking place all across America. Thank you, my friend for all your prayers and sacrifices that made this 21st century “miracle” a reality. I invite you to take a few moments to watch this video and then, interiorly, ask Our Lady what she wants you to do to make her Fatima message known and loved MORE.

Poachers are killing 100 elephants a day -- shooting them from helicopters, or hacking their faces off while they’re still alive. It’s unbearably cruel. And the worst is the elephants understand what’s happening to them. They spend hours crying over dead family members.

The only way to save them is a global ban on this bloody business -- and momentum has never been so strong. The US and China passed ivory bans. Hong Kong looks set to phase-out trade by 2021. And the EU just suspended exports of raw tusks. Now, they’re considering further restrictions.

Our evidence could be the trump card!

But it won’t be cheap. Avaaz may be the only crowdsourced funding model in the world able to raise enough, fast enough to get a massive, grassroots-supported, scientific study ready to lobby the EU just as it is considering a ban.

This is ground-breaking work -- and the EU is asking for it right now, but no one else is ready to hit go on a project this ambitious. Chip in what you can:
