Citi Bike is making itself even more accessible to everyone, by setting up shop in 5 new neighborhoods. Even if you've lived in this city for what feels like forever, there will always be new places to discover– like who has even heard of Little Tokyo? And apparently, the best doughnuts in the city have been hiding right in plain sight. There are a few things that are not-so-great about living in NYC, but nothing, literally nothing, is worse than apartment hunting. Well, except maybe job hunting. But with Shapr, it's not so hard to make connections at all. Never Forget
 We all say “never forget.” But how, exactly, do you remember? 16 years later and we all have our 9/11 rituals. Maybe it’s trying to observe a moment of silence even if it’s with your Uber driver. For many, 9/11 is becoming a day to give back– it’s already a National Day of Service and Remembrance, or 9/11 Day for short. Today’s 9/11 Day Packout gathers over 2,500 volunteers to the Intrepid Museum to pack over half a million meals for the hungry. They’ll help needy families in the New York area and in the wake of Harvey, some will also go to Houston as emergency food.  Defending the DREAM! These days, we’re resisting on the reg and this weekend was no different. Protestors gathered in Columbus Circle to express support for DACA and condemn President Trump’s decision to end it. The demonstrators were at least three thousand strong and marched to Trump Tower to confront the president. But don’t worry if you missed out on the action– there’s many more rallies this week.  If New York City has taught us anything in the past ten years, it’s that doughnuts can truly solve any trauma that this city serves up to us.
