HELLO RESPECTET BEAUTIFUL FRIENDS,
Tell the Senate Judiciary Committee: Stop Trump from stacking the courts!

Donald Trump advanced the Keystone XL and Dakota Access Pipelines within days of taking office. He’s trying to roll back protections for our public lands and waters. And he’s trying to gut our bedrock environmental protections like the Clean Water Rule.
One of the key ways to resist Trump’s extreme anti-environmental agenda is to take him to court. But Trump is also trying to stack the federal courts with young, extreme right-wing judges for lifetime appointments to the bench.
Meanwhile, some Senators are trying to jam through those nominees as fast as possible. We need your help to stop them!
Tell the Senate Judiciary Committee: Stop Trump from stacking the courts with extremist judges!
A special prosecutor is investigating possible collusion between Trump’s campaign and the Russian government. Trump refused to condemn the violent white supremacists and Nazis who terrorized Charlottesville. And he pardoned racist civil rights abuser Joe Arpaio, the former sheriff of Phoenix.
It’s clear that Trump has no respect for the rule of law. And he sees the courts as a way to institutionalize his hateful, extreme anti-environmental agenda for generations.
Now, the Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee are moving Trump’s nominees through as fast as they can. And some of the Democrats on the committee are refusing to use their power to slow them down. It has to stop, now.
Sign the petition to the Senate Judiciary Committee: Block Trump’s lifetime judicial appointments.
Trump has nominated 27 federal judges in his first six months. And these nominees have a history of championing the causes of right-wing extremists -- from opposing affirmative action to claiming President Obama was not born in the U.S.
If these nominees are confirmed, they could shred our civil rights and environmental protections for decades to come.
The Senate Judiciary Committee should step up to block and resist these conservative extremists who come from the fringes of the right wing.
Tell the Senate Judiciary Committee: No lifetime judicial appointments for Trump.
Standing with you,
Ben Schreiber,
Senior political strategist,
Friends of the Earth
