This week, the Senate plans to vote on the latest version of Trumpcare known as Graham-Cassidy.
Sign the petition today to protect the healthcare of tens of millions of Americans. Tell your Senators to reject Trumpcare.
This horribly destructive bill will make savage cuts to Medicaid. It’s a plan that repeals the ACA and cuts Medicaid over and on top of that. It is, in short, an attempt to rollback not just the ACA, but even the coverage provided by the pre-ACA American health care system.
However, in a clear attempt to juke the CBO score and hide just how many people it will deprive of health security in the long run, the bill’s authors have back-loaded the most severe Medicaid cuts beyond the ten year window that the Congressional Budget Office traditionally examines.
We can’t let Congress and President Trump rip healthcare away from tens of millions of Americans. Sign the petition today telling your Senators to reject Graham-Cassidy, which the Senate is expected to vote on this week.
In the ten years prior to the Affordable Care Act, roughly 15 million working people lost access to employer-based healthcare coverage. But, between 2010–2015, 19.2 million people have gained coverage under the Affordable Care Act. Let’s not go backwards!

With the CEOs of Equifax and Wells Fargo set to testify next week, now is the time to get answers and hold these lawbreakers accountable, not hand them a get-out-of-jail-free card in the form of this repeal. The public outrage around Equifax shows that consumers strongly oppose forced arbitration and understand the gravity of what is at stake in a repeal of this rule. Just last week, a poll from Morning Consult found that 69% of U.S. adults support joining a class-action lawsuit against Equifax.
Customers have tried to sue Wells Fargo over fraudulent accounts since at least 2013. But the bank used “ripoff clauses” hidden in the fine print of contracts to keep claims out of the public eye. This new CFPB rule restores consumer rights to challenge big banks in court. So why does Congress want to repeal it?

RESPECTED FRIENDS,
As you read this, the newly elected leaders of Germany are sitting down to tough negotiations on forming the next government. It's up to four parties [1] to build the next coalition with Angela Merkel in the Chancellor's seat.
With the shadow of more than 90 new far-right deputies in the parliament, andstrong voices both for and against a democratic reform of the European Union, the negotiations could go either way. With Germany as the key player,what happens in Berlin will decide on the future of Europe.
A progressive change is more than necessary: While Germany can borrow money for 0.01% a year, Greece pays 4.62% for government debt. [2] The imbalance is huge. It benefits rich countries and the banks: Deutsche Bank just cashed in €1.3 billion in interest from Greek taxpayers. [3] Without addressing problems like this, the next financial crisis will be unavoidable.
The choice of the new government is between "Germany first" or "Europe united". We are Europeans, and this is about all of us. As Chancellor Merkel and all four parties claim to be pro-European they will react very cautiously to a movement organised all over Europe, and we are the biggest movement of Europeans striving for a better Europe.
Once we have 100,000 signatures, we will present them to the negotiating parties in Berlin. We will be right there, in front of the door: they will have to pass by us to enter the negotiations. And we won’t be alone, the media will also be waiting outside the closed doors of the negotiations for days, a great opportunity to get the attention we need. Let us raise our voice together to demand a fair and democratic eurozone [4].
19 member states use the Euro as our common currency, but their economies are very different. A common currency means also common problems: high youth unemployment rate or a new bank crisis concerns us all. We urgently need investment programmes dedicated to solving our most pressing challenges: giving decent jobs to young people, replacing dirty fuels with renewable energy, ensuring just and efficient public services are available to all. For that we need a eurozone budget where all countries would contribute to help fund solutions to the most urgent needs across Europe.
The institutions that govern the Euro, like the Eurogroup [5] and the European Stability Mechanism (ESM) [6], are constructed outside the EU treaties, which guarantee at least a minimum of transparency and parliamentary influence. [7] The ESM only allows Germany and France to have full veto power. Both institutions are intransparent and have no democratic oversight. For a fair and democratic euro which connects people and economy to the European Union, the eurozone urgently needs reform.
Time is ripe for change. Thousands of members of our community recently shared our opinions on the state of the eurozone in a survey, helping steer our campaigning. We overwhelmingly agree: the eurozone cannot continue as it is, and the past 10 years have shown us how badly the European solidarity could fail in times of crisis.
This call we are making is one from all over Europe. Spaniards, Greeks and others felt the results of the crisis first hand. But support for these changes also comes from countries like Germany where 85.7% of the Germans in our community agree that the response to the economic crisis benefited the powerful countries such as Germany at the cost of people in Spain, France, Italy and Greece.
And we have at least one strong ally, although we don’t agree with all his ideas. Since his election French president Macron has been campaigning for a reform of the European Union and especially the eurozone. He knows that he needs Germany to create a more fair and democratic Europe, where economic problems are solved together. Let’s use the wind of change he unleashed.
The idea of WeMove was born of Europe’s economic crisis. Today we are 900,000 Europeans fighting together for more solidarity, a more just and fair Europe. This is our moment of truth, and an opportunity to bring about real and meaningful change. We have power when we come together - let’s use this power now.

PS: Many voices [8] are asking for a reform: An investment program not only once but ongoing, they call it a eurozone budget. They also suggests a finance minister, governing the budget - the minister would be part of the European Commission and controlled by the European Parliament. They also want to transform the European Stability Mechanism into a permanent European Monetary Fund. All those suggestions have pros and cons. We will make sure, that two principles are leading the debate: fairness and democracy. Add your voice to the call.

Senators Tillis and Lankford Unveil MASSIVE Amnesty Bill
Dear Feiends,
Earlier today, Sens. Thom Tillis (R-NC) and James Lankford (R-OK) unveiled a broad amnesty for MILLIONS of illegal aliens as a legislative "solution" for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). Their bill, the SUCCEED Act, would cover three times as many illegal aliens as the DACA program and provide a path to citizenship. Also, the bill contains no immigration enforcement provisions. It is a clean amnesty - plain and simple.
After the election of a president who ran on the promise of real immigration enforcement, these Republican lawmakers have abandoned any pretense of support for sound immigration management and the rule of law. They must hear your voice loud and clear.
Call Sens. Tillis and Lankford and tell them you OPPOSE their massive amnesty bill - the SUCCEED Act.
Also remind them that President Trump was elected on a mandate from the American people to put forth a multi-pronged plan for immigration enforcement and legal immigration reform, which includes:
- Passage of the RAISE Act, which will move the nation to a merit-based legal immigration system;
- Senate passage of Kate's Law and the No Sanctuary for Criminals Act, already passed in the House with strong bi-partisan support;
- Construction of the border wall;
- Increased interior immigration enforcement;
- Mandatory, nationwide E-Verify.

I once heard that former boxer Mike Tyson used to have a guy on his payroll, full-time salary, just to walk behind him saying "Mike, you're the man. You got this. You're the MAN!" Kind of like a "success whisperer".
Not sure how true this actually is - but the idea stuck in my head because if you really had someone whispering all the right things into your ear, all hours of the day, you might find some changes happening in your life.
My mentor, dear friend and great public speaker Lisa Nichols has a much more practical way to overcome the fear of public speaking.
But here's the thing to remember... we're not talking about eliminating the fear of public speaking. Because it's a perfectly natural to have, right?
Don't fight against the fears you have, embrace them. Emotions are natural, part of life.
This is about feeling the fear and doing it anyway, to quote a well-known book. This is about overcoming your fears and shining on your stage. Owning that stage. Belonging on that stage.
