After combing through his newly released tax plan though, it reads more like a $5 trillion love note to the wealthy. CREDIT: SCREENGRAB Roy Moore, a Christian nationalist who was twice ousted from the Alabama Supreme Court for his bigotry, just won the Republican primary for the state’s U.S. Senate seat. President Trump has embraced him (after his endorsement of Moore’s opponent failed) while other Republicans are doing their best to pretend he doesn’t exist. All of this proves why we can’t afford to ignore the mounting Christian nationalist problem in our country. Reading List Roger Stone claims that during his visit to Congress this week, he closed the book on his role in the ever-widening Russia scandal — except he didn’t. In fact, he refused to answer any of the most important questions, like “did this administration collude with Russia?” Athletes taking money from apparel companies is known as an endorsement deal. Everywhere, that is, except in college athletics. The Supreme Court is set to hear a case that could end partisan gerrymandering. Soundbite “If the owners allow them, they can speak out I guess on the field.
