Protect the Boreal, Protect the Woodland Caribou

Unchecked logging, mining, and road-building in Canada’s boreal forest has put the woodland caribou’s 57 remaining herds at risk of extinction. These industrial activities also threaten the hundreds of First Nation communities that call the boreal home and jeopardize the forest’s ability to regulate our global climate. Urge Canada to step up now—these icons need protection before it’s too late.

Do Gusen deportowano łącznie 71 tys. osób 27 narodowości (do całego kompleksu KL Mauthausen-Gusen 190 tys. osób 40 narodowości).

Granit i śmierć, pamięć i zapomnienie”. Jesienią br. wystawa ta będzie dostępna także na terenie Miejsca Pamięci i Muzeum Auschwitz-Birkenau.

Prezentacji wystawy towarzyszy pokaz filmu dokumentalnego „Gusen – wojna o pamięć” w reżyserii Rafała Geremka. Dokument wyprodukowało Muzeum Historii Polski i TVP Historia. Film można zobaczyć tu: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BgVNfto0Wck
