Just another fun classified hangout

President Donald Trump reportedly gave classified information to Russian officials last week. It’s unclear whether Trump himself confirmed or denied those reports — his administration’s response has been all over the place. But don’t expect the president’s party to hold him accountable; contrary to speculation, very few Republicans are actually pulling away from Trump.

On Monday, a federal appellate judge compared Trump’s Muslim ban to one of the worst chapters in American history: the U.S. internment of Japanese-Americans during World War II. In case you are wondering, that comparison is a bad sign for Trump.

„Budite oprezni, budite vrlo oprezni – ono što se dogodilo ovdje doći će k vama.”

by Robert

Whatcha doing this MWD? The only right answer is joining us on a kickass, two-hour booze cruise🍹🌊
Guess what fam, rompers are a thing now. Wait, wait, not run-of-the-mill bane-of-every-woman's-existence rompers, but 💪 MANLY MAN ROMPERS FOR MEN. 💪
Festival season is underway, and we're hooking one lucky winner up with the ultimate Northside Festival experience. 🎵
Finding love in NYC can be hard, and TBH, pretty depressing, but we're bringing you inside looks at real, live couples that have somehow made it work. ❤️️
Once you're inspired, take bae to this Williamsburg rooftop for a free movie night. 🎥 Cheap dates FTW.
You'd probz have plenty of money to spoil your sweetie if you don't have to worry about rent for ONE WHOLE F*CKING YEAR😱
If you're more Netflix & Chill (do we still say this?), there's plenty of new things to watch RN, seriously, you might actually not do very much chilling. 📺
BTW, if you've been feeling like the subway has been extra sh*tty recently, don't worry, you're not crazy. 🚇

Can We Not?

Wondering why men in one-pieces are dominating your feed today? This is why.
God help us.
While the RompHims themselves look arguably ridiculous, that's not really the point.
My dudes, if you wanna rock a romper for some ungodly reason, (FYI: you have to fully unclothe to use the bathroom, so enjoy that) you do you.
Why do you need a special invitation? Re: BroséMangriaThis soap.

Real Couples of New York

We always hear about people finding ~love~ in NYC, but does that actually happen?
Welcome to Real Couples of New York, where we will introduce you to that mythical creature we’ve glimpsed on the subway: a couple who found love (or something like it) in New York City.
These couples prove that dating in NYC is indeed possible, and you never know when or how you might meet the person you’ve been dreaming about splitting Seamless orders with since you moved here.

Struggle Bus

They say the first step to recovery is admitting there’s a problem, so we’re hoping this means better commutes are approaching.
Nope, you aren’t crazy, the train has been a hot mess recently.
But if we’re lucky, a couple hundred new subway cars, as well as repaired and new, shiny tracks will do the trick.
We’ll still be leaving half an hour early every morning in the meantime.

The Rent is Too Damn High

If we had a dollar for every time someone complained about NYC’s batsh*t insane rent prices, uh, well, we definitely wouldn’t have anything to complain about anymore.
One of you (and your 3-7 lucky roommates), actually, have the chance to make every New Yorker’s fantasy your reality.
We’re teaming up with the cool kids at SpareRoom to hook you up with free rent for one whole damn year.
Seriously. And all you gotta do is enter to win.

Watchlist

There’s, dare we say, a sh*t-ton of stuff to watch rn. On Netflix alone.
Seriously, there’s Season 2 of Master of None, Season 3 of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, that weird, dark version of Anne of Green Gables that your girlfriend really wants to watch for some reason– not to mention you can finally cover up your Oscar season lie, and catch Moonlight on Amazon Prime.
Sure, the weather’s finally nice.
Is it gonna stop us from spending the next three weekends on the couch analyzing the new Twin Peaks?
Of course not.

Festival Season

It’s festival season, and we are HYPE, y’all.
The only problem with festival season here in NYC is simple: how the f*ck are we supposed to afford these tickets?
What are we supposed to do? Give up brunch? Seamless?
Okay, so basically, we spend too much money on food, and we’re not about to change our habits.
Lucky for you, we’re sending one lucky couple (or BFFS, you do you) with this insane package for Northside Festival, including premium passes, airfare, and hotel accommodations.
All you gotta do is enter to win.

Movie Night

It’s kinda sorta not worth it going to the movies anymore.
Why leave your cozy apartment to drop $40 on tickets + overpriced candy when you can order on demand, or our personal favorite, scroll through various streaming services for the same duration of a feature movie?
If date night must be outdoors, then we’ve got the perfect thing– free movie nights at Dobbin St. in Williamsburg.
Pro-tip: Hit up yo’ local Walgreens for candy beforehand.

Summer ‘17

Do you have Memorial Day Weekend plans yet? WELL YOU SHOULD CANCEL THEM. NOW.
You’re coming with us on an insane two-hour booze cruise on the Hudson River.
There’s gonna be some delish bites from our buds over at FoodKick and an open Tito’s Vodka, beer, and wine bar.
Think about those views of the Manhattan skyline and Lady Liberty while you snag your tix here.

Has the WannaCry ransomware made you cry yet?
Dear CNET members,

I hope this newsletter finds you in good health, and your computer as well! Why? Oh, I don't know, it's just the largest cyberattack ever (named WannaCry) is currently spreading across the web and hitting Windows PCs around the world. (No threat to MacOS, ChromeOS or Linux users.) It's a big deal and if you aren't aware of this attack, here is an FAQ on it.

I really hope none of you have been locked out by this ransomware. The most vulnerable are the folks who haven't kept their Windows systems updated with the latest patches. If you are up-to-date, you should be fine. If you haven't backed up your data in a while do it just to be safe. Here are some additional tips from CNET on how to protect your PC from this ransomware.

While this newsletter is more of a heads-up on this global cyberattack, I would like to know if any of you have been directly or indirectly affected by this ransomware. Has your business or work place been hit by it? If you have any experience with it, please share your stories in this article's comments section. Even if you are safe from this attack, how do you feel about the people behind the ransomware and what do you think the punishment should be if they are caught? And if you were to be infected, would you pay the ransom to free your data?

Dear STJEPAN TOKIC,

What I have to say is sickening; but I need your help urgently.
There is a vendor on Etsy.com, a peer-to-peer e-commerce website that focuses on handmade and vintage items.
One of the sellers, Miss Scarlett aka Dirty Lola is selling several paintings of celebrities, many of which are blatantly disrespectful to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
This is unacceptable! You can't put David Bowie's face on an image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus without offending Catholics.
Here is a short list of these insulting productions by Dirty Lola:
   • Bowie – Saint Starman Painting (David Bowie)
   • "Saint" Purple Dove (Prince)
   • "Saint" Dolly Parton
   • "Saint" Amy Winehouse
   • "Saint" Kurt Cobain
   • Lana Del Rey – "Virgin Mary – Saint"
   • "Saint" Dr. Frank N Furter – Rocky Horror Show (Transvestite Character)
   • "Art Print from my painting of my Sweet Transvestite from Transylvania!"
This list includes homosexuals, transvestites, drug addicts, and others who lived a life of sin and vice.
Dirty Lola's work is offensive and disgusting.
Until next time, I remain
Sincerely yours,

John Horvat
