In Case You Missed It

The U.S. Department of Energy removes references to "clean energy" from its websites.

President Donald Trump withdraws the United States from the Paris climate accord, despite pleas to the contrary from BP, Chevron, ConocoPhillips, ExxonMobil, and Shell.

Major financial firms join a shareholder rebellion against the management of ExxonMobil, forcing the company to report about the financial impact of climate change on the oil giant.

Asked about climate change, Representative Tim Walberg (R-Mich.) replies that, "If there's a real problem, He [God] can take care of it."

Report says Israel planned atomic detonation in Sinai if Six Day War went wrong

One the eve of the Six Day War, with the country surrounded by enemies and unsure of its future, Israel developed a “doomsday” plan to detonate an atomic bomb in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula as a warning to the Arabs, The New York Times reported Saturday.

The report is based on an interview between leading Israeli nuclear scholar Avner Cohen and retired IDF brigadier general Itzhak Yaakov, who reportedly oversaw the plan.

“It’s the last secret of the 1967 war,” Cohen told the paper. The full interview is set to be published Monday as the region marks the 50th anniversary of the war in which Israel defeated the combined Arab armies in just six days.

EPI News—Our most important stories this week

What’s at stake with the fiduciary rule?

In a new report, EPI’s Heidi Shierholz and Ben Zipperer examine—state by state—how much retirement savers lose annually as a result of receiving advice from financial advisers who have conflicts of interest. Shierholz and Zipperer find that retirement savers in California lose nearly $1.9 billion per year; see the losses for your state here or in the map below. On June 9, the Labor Department will partially implement the fiduciary rule—a rule that is intended to protect retirement savers from conflicted advice. However, some compliance provisions of the rule will not take effect—nor will the rule be enforced—until January 1, 2018; and even then, its future is uncertain. Only if the rule is fully implemented and enforced will workers saving for retirement be able to reap the full benefits of a lifetime of work. Read this report »

Attack on joint employer standard is an attack on collective bargaining

EPI’s Celine McNicholas and Marni von Wilpert examine the joint employer standard under the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA), explaining why a strong joint employer standard is essential to protecting workers’ rights to organize and bargain collectively. In the modern workplace, workers often have multiple employers controlling their wages and working conditions—and all of those employers must be at the bargaining table to meaningfully address workers’ concerns.

Book event: The Color of Law

On June 8, EPI will host Richard Rothstein as he discusses his new book, The Color of Law: A Forgotten History of How Our Government Segregated America. Ted Shaw of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law and Rep. Gwen Moore (D-Wis.) will join Rothstein to discuss the history of state-sponsored residential segregation and its enduring effects. Join us in D.C. or watch the livestream »

EPI in the news

In a story about robots and the future of work, The Atlantic quoted from EPI’s recent report arguing that automation does not lead to joblessness or inequality. “Capital investment in the workplace has grown more slowly since 2002 than in any other postwar period,” according to the report’s authors, Lawrence Mishel and Josh Bivens. “This is the opposite of what we would expect with a looming robot apocalypse based on automation accelerating exponentially.” | So, Where Are All Those Robots? »
EPI’s Lawrence Mishel spoke with CNN Money about Mark Zuckerberg’s call for universal basic income—a guaranteed minimum income for every citizen. “It’s a misguided mission,” said Mishel. “It’s a tech CEO view of the world that I think is distorted.”| Mark Zuckerberg supports universal basic income. What is it? »
Smithsonian Magazine interviewed EPI’s Richard Rothstein about his new book, The Color of Law, which finds that segregation in the U.S. was driven by racially explicit federal, state, and local policies—not by individual prejudices. | The Racial Segregation of American Cities Was Anything But Accidental »
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch covered EPI’s analysis of the Trump administration’s delay of the fiduciary rule, noting that Missouri investors lost $73.4 million during the 60-day delay. | Study says investors could lose big if Trump administration deep-sixes ‘fiduciary rule’ »
EPI’s Josh Bivens spoke with the The Atlantic about why he believes the U.S. economy is at not at genuine full employment yet. According to Bivens, “the number of prime-age Americans who are actually working remains low, even by historical standards.” | Full Employment: Are We There Yet? »
EPI’s Hunter Blair spoke with the International Business Times about the use of public-private partnerships to fund infrastructure. Because private investors recoup their investment through user fees such as tolls, Blair said, “You give the private provider a lot of market power to drive up rates or reduce quality.” | Foreign Firms Stand to Benefit from Trump Budget, Infrastructure Plans »

Veteran Trader Unlocks 100-year-old chart-busting mystery to create 554% - 4,409% per month returns in nearly any market conditions

See him trade it in real time for thousands in live video recordings

You know why I think most people avoid trading Forex?

It's one simple thing, and if we're honest with ourselves, it's the thing that stops most of us in our tracks in every area of our lives…

They are afraid.

Who could blame you if you were? We heard stories as kids about how shattering the Great Depression was, we watched our parents struggle through the bleak 1980s, and now our kids are watching us still trying to rebuild our lives from the "Great Recession" of 2008.

It can seem like a no-win scenario: You're being nickel and dimed to death by inflation, and your paycheck seems to be (and in some cases, really is), shrinking and cannot meet your current needs, let alone allow you to prepare for the future…

A future which, let's face it, will include new and more frequent "economic events," that could gut our already fragile finances.

The way I see it, you have two choices…
  1. Just keep on keepin' on… Hoping the next layoff notice isn't your pink slip and your kids will take care of you in your old age…

  2. Take control of your finances out of the hands of the greedy money-men and build up a reserve of wealth that will withstand anything the world might throw at you.
Now, before you tell me you have "no choice," and that's just the way things are, you need to see this…

See more than a dozen live trades where Russ's EQ Trading method makes thousands in seconds, here.

This 16-year veteran trader has spent the last year - and more than 10,000 hours - confirming his findings, and he has just released them to the world…

Not only did he solve the biggest problem in all of trading history and revolutionize how everybody will trade from now on…

He proved that it could be tons more profitable, too.

Click display images to see chart

He spent more than 10,000 hours back-testing over 30 years of market data to prove his equilibrium trading method worked…

Click display images to see chart

And then he spent thousands more hours live trading it on his real personal trading accounts to prove it to the world.

Click display images to see chart

He explains his ultimate trading solution, his equilibrium trading revolution in a video on his page…

Click display images to see chartThis isn't some complicated 'black box' nonsense… And Russ isn't cherry picking his earnings to show you only the good stuff…

He doesn't have to. When you can point to4,409% in a single month, on a tiny $1,500 account, you know your system is working, consistently.

That's one of the reasons I like Russ Horn so much. He's as down to earth and real as it gets. In fact, his new found fame has him pretty confused…

He went from a nobody, killing himself over 18 hour days printing tee shirts, to a rock star of the Forex world…

Click display images to see chart

However, like most 'overnight success stories' his was years in the making. He says he "knew," and "could feel" the equilibrium point in the market, and was stunned that "someone a lot smarter than me" hadn't been able to map it.

Look, I could go on and on about how Russ just turned trading on its ear, and why his newForex Equinox system is able to churn out big earnings on 8.5 of every 10 trades, in nearly all market conditions, but right now you just want to know two things…
  1. That it really works and is as easy as I've told you [It does and you can see it here.]

  2. That you could use it to start making similar three and four figure trades for yourself, fast.
So instead of listening to me keep yapping at you, go have a look at everything Russ has on his webpage - including his shocking amount of free educational content…

Review the statements, watch the trades, and watch Russ talk about his Equilibrium method himself…

And if you don't think it could be the fastest, easiest, and most consistent route to a secure financial picture for your retirement…

I challenge you

Russ provides you with an ironclad 100% cashback refund policy, so you could test drive his new system for up to two months - put it through its paces on a demo account before you trade it live and see if it really delivers the goods…

So you really have zero reason to chicken out and not step up to claim your control of your future.

You could stop accepting the status quo and start crushing "the way it's always been" immediately…

And with a system as accurate and powerful as Russ's, you could also start piling your account with cash, too.

Just about half the spots in Russ's exclusive Forex Equinox "War Room" are already taken… Don't be the guy who is left holding the bag… Be the guy who is stuffing all the cash he can get his hands on into his account.

Start here.

To Your Trading Success,

Adrian Jones
"Next Generation Trading"

P.S. You might be wondering why I said $100K in 6 months at the top of this email when Russ is easily crushing $68.9K a month…

Here's why (I lifted this straight from Russ's page)…

Click display images to see chart

He has simplified trading to a degree that he is sure even a beginner could pull 6 figures in the next year.

You need to be that person he helps succeed. You need Forex Equinox, and you can get it,here.
