PETITION TO: PRESIDENCY OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND EUROPEAN COMMISSION

On 8 Sept, 2015 the EU Parliament will vote on a recent report issued by that body’s FEMM Committee. The report is entitled, “Empowering Girls through Education in the EU,” and it was written by Liliana Rodrigues, who is a Socialist Party MEP from Portugal – and, therefore the report is known as the “Rodrigues Report”.Why is the Rodrigues Report objectionable, and what does the petition ask? On 16 June, 2015, the Committee on Women's Rights and Gender Equality of the European Parliament (the FEMM Committee) adopted a report on Empowering Girls through Education in the EU.Essentially, this report wants to impose gender ideology on all schools in the European Union.Specifically, this report calls on Member States to teach gender ideology in all the EU Schools, by replacing old school-books with new books written with a gender ideology bias.In this way, the Rodrigues Report does not respect or vindicate the absolute right of parents to be the primary and principal educators of their children.And, crucially, the report also violates the EU’s own Principle of Subsidiarity, as defined by the Lisbon Treaty, art. 5, such that "education" is not a competence of the EU.Furthermore, this report tramples on and seriously violates the following: International Treaties and Covenants; the latest Resolution of the UN on the Protection of the Family; the Universal Declaration of Human Rights; the International Convention of the Rights of the Child; and, the European Convention on Fundamental Rights. Very fundamentally, this report is an affront to the human dignity of every child and to the natural family. For all of the above reasons, we urge all Members of European Parliament (MEPs) to REJECT the Rodrigues Report at the Plenary session, on 8 September, 2015 – the day on which the vote will take place. Please help us defeat this warped, intrusive and over-reaching report by:

8. rujna Europski će parlament glasati o izvješću "Osnaživanje djevojaka kroz edukacije u EU" koje je pripremio europski Odbor za prava žena i ravnopravnost spolova (FEMM). Izvješće je napisala portugalska zastupnica Liliana Rodrigues, članica socijalističke stranke. Po autorici izvješće je poznato kao Rodrigues izvješće.U osnovi Izvješće sadrži nametanje rodne ideologije svim školama Europske unije. Poziva sve države članice na poučavanje rodne idelogije u osnovnim i srednjim školama i zamjenu školskih udžbenika s novim udžbenicima koji će biti napisani sukladno rodnoj idelogiji.Roditelji imaju pravo na odgoj svoje djece i na odlučivanje o njihovu obrazovanju.U svojoj srži Rodrigues izvješće vrijeđa ljudsko dostojanstvo i pokušava uništiti pravo roditelja na odgoj svoje djece. Obranite pravo roditelja na odgoj. Obranite i pravo države na donošenje vlastitih odluka: http://www.citizengo.org/…/28471-stop-nasilnom-nametanju-ro…, također, krši međunarodne ugovore i konvencije: najnoviju UN-ovu Rezoluciju o zaštiti obitelji, Opću deklaraciju o ljudskim pravima, Deklaraciju o pravima djeteta i Europsku konvenciju o ljudskim pravima i temeljnim slobodama. Krši i načelo supsdijarnosti, definirano Lisabonskim ugovorom čl. 5, koji kaže kako određena područja, poput obrazovanja, nisu u nadležnosti EU, već država članica. Iz godine u godinu EU parlament sve više prelazi granice svoje nadležnosti, stoga je potrebno jasno reći: PRESTANITE SE MIJEŠATI U ODGOJ NAŠE DJECE I U DRŽAVNE ZAKONE KOJI SU IZVAN VAŠIH OVLASTI. Potpišite peticiju, zatražite hrvatske zastupnike u EU parlamentu da ODBIJU Rodrigues izvješće i spriječe miješanje EU u odgoj djece i državne zakone koji su izvan ovlasti Europske unije!
