De-Funding Planned Parenthood Would Save “Several Thousand” Babies From Abortion
A new Congressional report finds that de-funding the Planned Parenthood abortion business — even for one year — would save “several thousand” unborn babies from the nightmare of abortion. The report also finds de-funding Planned Parenthood would save the federal government $235 million.

Senate Will Vote Next Week on Pro-Life Bill Banning Late-Term Abortions After 20 Weeks
Senate Republicans have fast-tracked a key pro-life bill to ban late-term abortions. The measure would ban abortions after 20 weeks — as neither Congress nor state legislatures can vote to ban all abortions under Roe v. Wade.

Top Democrats Defending Taxpayer Funding for Planned Parenthood Got $31,000 From It
As more damning video comes out exposing Planned Parenthood’s grisly trade in aborted baby parts, the left is pushing back. A pro-life group has asked all of the Republican presidential candidates to sign off on a new pledge that, if elected president, they will do everything possible to de-fund the Planned Parenthood abortion business. The pledge comes after the Center for Medical Progress released its 10th video in a series of expose’ videos showing how the abortion company sells aborted babies and their body parts.

UPDATE: "Speaker Rep. John Boehner’s worst nightmare is on the rise.... Rep. Mark Meadows is gaining steam as a clearly coordinated, highly orchestrated effort to remove Boehner as Speaker of the United States House of Representatives — and fix a broken Congress that no longer represents the wishes of the American people — comes into much clearer focus." -Breitbart

Meadows added that there may already be as many as "30 Republicans that would find it very difficult to vote for the current Speaker" but he cautions that "this has to be something that grows across the country. ... It has to continue to grow. Now I know that it is growing."

Make no mistake, patriotic Americans, like you, who have taken the time to send Blast Faxes and make calls are driving the Dump Boehner Train and now that Congress is coming back into session, we need you to finish the job. It's time for Boehner to go... we want it to happen now... and you can make it happen now.

Use the button or the hyperlink below to send your urgent Blast Faxes to Congressman Mark Meadows and each and every one of the other 37 Members of the Freedom Caucus in Congress. Let them know, in uncertain terms, that you want John Boehner gone.

Send My Faxes

Make No Mistake, The Campaign To Dump John Boehner As Speaker Of The House Just Moved Into High Gear.

You may already know what has been happening behind the scenes. The day before Congress went on recess, on July 28, Congressman Mark Meadows introducedH.Res.385, a measure to declare the Speaker's Chair vacant.

And at first, John Boehner was actually going to call a quickie vote on H.Res.385 as a means of putting Meadows in his place and affirming to all that his position was secure.

But then, a very strange thing happened, as Boehner's lieutenants whipped the votes, they found out that Boehner probably did not have the votes to retain his position as Speaker of the House, because conservative Members of Congress, like you, have had enough of John Boehner and his attempts to advance the radical Obama agenda for far too long.

And suddenly, oblivion in the minds of Boehner and his minions gave way to panic... Boehner moved quickly.

Boehner announced to the media that Meadows' coup was no big deal... he said he wasn't worried... but that was a bald-faced lie.

Using (some might say, abusing) his authority as Speaker of the House, he immediately assigned H.Res.385 to a committee that was packed with his cronies so that the measure would simply remain shelved and die an unceremonious death.

As Breitbart reported: "House Speaker Rep. John Boehner (R-OH) had been planning to call up on the House floor last week a measure from Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) that would have removed him as Speaker of the House if it succeeded—intending to embarrass Meadows—but abandoned the plan after his entire leadership structure learned that they did not have the votes to re-elect him as Speaker before the August recess."

But Boehner's not going to get off that easy. Under House rules, Meadows can bring H.Res.385 to the floor as what is called a privileged resolution and, if he brings it up,  the House MUST vote on it; and that is exactly what we want Meadows and conservatives in Congress to do, because, quite frankly, Boehner probably still does not have the votes to retain his position and we want him gone... for good.

And when the measure comes before the full House, it will send a resounding message to the GOP Elites in Washington: No more betrayals, no more mendacity, no more lies. If you don't do what you promise, you will be gone.

Use the button or the hyperlink below to send your urgent Blast Faxes to Congressman Mark Meadows and each and every one of the other 37 Members of the Freedom Caucus in Congress. Let them know, in uncertain terms, that you want John Boehner gone.

No, Removing John Boehner Will NOT Give Nancy Pelosi A Path To Become The Next Speaker Of The House.

The issue stated above must be addressed because there are plenty of politicians and Washington elites who will lie to you and repeat a fable in hopes of getting your consent to keep the Speaker's gavel in John Boehner's hands.

The truth of the matter is that House rules and mathematics prevent Nancy Pelosi from becoming the next Speaker of the House.

Once the office of Speaker of the House is vacated, the House will then vote on who will be the new Speaker of the House; and in order to be elected Speaker, a candidate must obtain a majority of all the seated Members of the House of Representatives.

In other words, someone must obtain 218 Yea votes to become the Speaker of the House, and it doesn't matter how many Members of Congress are present or choose not to vote. If 219 Members of Congress show up to vote, 218 of them must vote for one candidate. If no Member running for the position receives 218 votes, the House keeps voting until someone reaches the magical number.

As of this moment, there are only 188 Democrats in the House of Representatives. That means, in order for Pelosi to become the next Speaker of the House, at least 30 Republicans must vote for her and frankly, that's not going to happen.

The worst that can happen is that another member of the Washington Cartel will rise to become the next Speaker of the House, but should that happen, rest assured that whoever is handed the Speaker's gavel is going to mind their P's and Q's.

Make no mistake, you hold the power to set things right. You hold the power to take back your country. You hold the power to remove John Boehner and send a powerful message to the Washington Cartel.

Don't let anyone convince you otherwise, and don't follow Mr. Boehner's spineless, do-nothing example. Wield your power. Make your voice heard and send a clear message to Congress that you're sick and tired of Mr. Boehner's fecklessness and weakness.

Tell these Republicans in Congress that we don't want Mr. Boehner to go away angry... we just want him to go away.

Use the button or the hyperlink below to send your urgent Blast Faxes to Congressman Mark Meadows and each and every one of the other 37 Members of the Freedom Caucus in Congress. Let them know, in uncertain terms, that you want John Boehner gone.

LOOKING AHEAD
Seeking Stability in Greece After a long summer of financial and political upheaval, Greeks will vote next Sunday in the second general election this year. The outcome will determine whether Greece returns to stability, after agreeing to terms of the country's third multibillion-euro international bailout last month, or enters a new period of uncertainty. The snap elections were called last month after the resignation of Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, who came to power in January on a pledge to stop austerity, but capitulated to creditors' demands after months of grueling negotiations that destabilized the economy and led to the imposition of capital controls on Greek banks. Mr. Tsipras quit in a bid to consolidate his grip on power following a rebellion by radical leftist lawmakers who oppose austerity and have since formed their own party. Although Greek opinion polls gave Mr. Tsipras and his Syriza party a clear lead over rivals earlier this summer, many new surveys put Syriza virtually neck and neck with its main political opponent, the conservative New Democracy, which led the coalition government that preceded Mr. Tsipras's administration. - Niki Kitsantonis

The Power of Praise

If you don’t know the name Ahmed Mohamed, you will soon. After building a digital clock and bringing it to school to show his teacher, officials were called in to arrest the 14-year-old ninth grader, thinking the student, who is Muslim, may have built an explosive device. Well, some people weren’t so cool with that—including NASA scientists, Mark Zuckerberg, and President Obama. “Cool clock, Ahmed. Want to bring it to the White House? We should inspire more kids like you to like science. It’s what makes America great,” Obama wrote on Twitter. Read more about why the #IStandWithAhmed movement is so important. State of Excellence

If you’re a woman thinking of starting a new business, then you may want to consider moving to New Hampshire. According to Thumbtack’s annual Small Business Friendliness Survey, which analyzes how well state or local governments work for small businesses, NH is where it’s at. And with 40 percent of the businesses surveyed being run by women, the female perspective was definitely a factor. Female entrepreneurs were most concerned with tax regulations, training opportunities, and labor rules. Now New Hampshire is great for both sexes to run a small business, but Oregon and Oklahoma serve female entrepreneurs better than males, both jumping many spots from the previous year. See the full list here. [Related: The Freelancer’s Guide to Saving for Retirement]

Must-See TV

Get your DVR ready: The Emmys are this Sunday. Although many women have been honored with nominations this year (Amy Schumer could take home six!), there’s still a huge gap when it comes to the number of female writers, show-runners, and producers compared to men. But a new study may have found an answer. According to the “Boxed In” study out of San Diego State University, having at least one woman creator or executive producer correlated with a higher number of major female characters, as well as more women writers, directors, and editors—compared to programs with no female execs. And kudos to ABC (well, really to Shonda Rhimes and her ladies of #TGIT), which has the highest percentage of female characters (45 percent), followed by CW, NBC and Fox, and CBS. The study also found that when it comes to the portrayal of working women on television, we’re not in good shape. Viewers were less likely to know the occupational status of female characters than male characters. But we do all know what Olivia Pope does: She handles things. [Related: 5 Models With Successful Side Hustles]
