What’s Going On?
Given Trump’s hateful rhetoric about immigrants and promise to deport millions, building power to protect immigrant communities will be one of the most important things we can do during his presidency. Tomorrow, January 14th, immigrants and their allies will rally at cities across the country to stand against criminalization, mass deportations, and hate. You can find an event in your area here and follow the rallies on twitter using the hashtag #HeretoStay.

What’s Going On?
The Republicans have already started fulfilling their promise to repeal Obamacare (despite offering no alternative) and beyond that already catastrophic plan, they could make additional cuts to Medicare and Medicaid. This Sunday, January 15th, following a call to action by Senator Bernie Sanders, people across the country will rally to tell Republicans that they will NOT get away with taking away our health care. Povjerenstvo za odlučivanje o sukobu interesa na čijem je čeluDalija Orešković mjesecima ignorira prijavu SHZ protiv dužnosnika Davora Lončara. Već je prošlo devet mjeseci, a nema nikakvog odgovora. Iz navedenog može se zaključiti da Dalija Orešković pravi selekciju o kome će Povjerenstvo odlučivati, bez obzira na dostavljene čvrste dokaze. I tako u javnosti stvara o sebi „imidž“, ovoga hoću ovoga neću dužnosnika. SHZ zabrinjava takav način ponašanja Povjerenstva.
Prošlo je devet mjeseci od podnošenja prijave SHZ o pokretanju postupka protiv Davora Lončara, načelnika Općine Poličnik, a Povjerenstvo za odlučivanje o sukobu interesa još ne donosi odluku je li dužnosnik počinio povredu Zakona o sprječavanju sukoba interesa. Do kada?
SHZ je podnio prijavu Povjerenstvu za odlučivanje o sukobu interesa da utvrdi je li sukob interesa da Općina Poličnik plaća odvjetnicu za poslove Općine Poličnik i privatno zastupa po privatnoj tužbi načelnika Općine Davora Lončara.
