Promontory Financial Settles With New York Regulator When New York State's financial regulator challenged the integrity of a top Wall Street consultant, the Promontory Financial Group, the firm threatened to sue, vowing to "litigate the matter and defend our firm against this regulatory overreach." On Tuesday, Promontory tried a different approach: compromise. Promontory - whose founder and chief executive, Eugene A. Ludwig, is a former top banking regulator - agreed to admit that its actions on behalf of a big British bank did not meet current consulting requirements, the New York State regulator announced. The deal, which caps a two-year investigation that cast a pall over the firm, also involves a $15 million penalty and an agreement that Promontory voluntarily abstain from certain consulting arrangements for six months.

Under federal law, such sales of aborted baby body parts are supposed to be consensual and not for profit. Not in the world of Planned Parenthood.
Yesterday, the Charlotte Lozier Institute, the education arm of the Susan B. Anthony List, and Alliance Defending Freedom released a map showing the thousands of health care clinics in the United States that offer legitimate health care to women.
The Planned Parenthood abortion business is running new attack ads on television against four pro-life senators who recently voted to de-fund it in the wake of a national scandal over its selling aborted babies and their body parts. The ads target pro-life lawmakers who face tough re-election battles in their home states next year.
It has been a little over one month since the first video was released showing Planned Parenthood’s medical director, Dr. Deborah Nucatola, admitting to selling aborted babies’ body parts and altering abortion procedures to obtain salable organs for harvesting.
