Do you have any knots in your life?
As we look around us, it is clear that we have gotten ourselves, as a Nation, into quite a mess.
In the Church, in society, and perhaps even in our own personal lives.
When we do not follow God’s will, a kind of knot is created deep within us.
These knots take away our peace and serenity.
Have you noticed in your own life that these knots can form a tangle that can be very difficult to undo?
But we know one thing: with God all things are possible!
Even the most tangled knots can be loosened by His grace.
And Mary, whose “Yes” opened the door for God to undo the knot of Adam and Eve’s disobedience, is the Mother who patiently and lovingly untangles the knots of our soul.
Now, when I use the word “knot,” what do I mean?
Friends, the knots of our lives – yours and mine – can take on many forms:
Knots of financial stress, spiritual knots, addiction, illness, depression, unemployment or knots generated by people we care about such as wayward children and so on. . . .
Most of us are dealing with at least one large knot.
So what knot in your life is creating difficulty for you?
Today, my friend, I invite you to turn over your knot to Mary.
As she works on the knot, she will point you to her Son, Jesus.
In the Holy Scriptures, He tells us in no uncertain terms never to limit what God can do:
“Amen, I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed … nothing will be impossible for you” (Matthew 17:20).
“Nothing will be impossible for you.”
We can, no, we must, take Our Lord at His Word.
No matter how hopelessly tangled our lives may be – whether through our own fault or just a natural consequence of living in a disordered, chaotic world – He can bring us peace.
When we turn to His Holy Mother under the title of Our Lady Undoer of Knots, our hearts will be transformed and we will become better disciples of Our Lady of Fatima.
Thank you, Friends, for taking the time to read to the end of this email.
I am your brother in Christ, and I know that sometimes you may just need to hear and be encouraged that “with God all things are possible.”
The restoration of Christian culture happens through the restoration of one Christian heart at a time.
Beginning with mine. Beginning with yours.
