Dear FRIENDS,

Give a monthly donation to Friends of the Earth and provide the long-term support we need to stop Keystone XL in court!
Within days of taking office, Donald Trump advanced the Keystone XL pipeline.
Keystone XL would carry 830,000 barrels of the world's dirtiest oil every day from Alberta, Canada, to the U.S. Gulf Coast. It would add annual greenhouse gas emissions equal to 37.7 million cars. And it would put the critically endangered whooping crane at risk of extinction.
So we’ve taken Trump to court to stop this pipeline.
Here’s the problem: Stopping Keystone XL is going to be a long fight. We need to make sure we have the resources to win. Can we count on you?
Give a monthly donation of $5 or more and help fight Trump in court!
The evidence is clear: Trump’s attempt to build Keystone XL violates the law. Trump’s State Department failed to fully consider the pipeline’s impact on the whooping crane, which is protected under the Endangered Species Act.
This is unacceptable. Trump and his administration are trying to get around their legal obligations just so they can hand this pipeline to TransCanada.
By chipping in $5 a month -- that’s less than 50 cents a day -- you’ll fuel this legal battle and all our work to stop Trump’s giveaways to Big Oil.
Donate $5 a month or more and help keep up the legal battle to stop Keystone XL!
While Trump is trying to force the construction of this pipeline, his enablers in Congress are helping him. They’re preparing to introduce a bill to gut the Endangered Species Act. This bill could pave the way for Keystone XL.
So while we’re fighting in the courts, we can’t ignore Congress. That’s why we’re building a team of rapid response volunteers across the country. These activists are showing up at town hall meetings, fundraisers, and anywhere else they can find their Representatives and demanding that they step up to protect the environment.
Our environment is under threat like never before. The clock is ticking to prevent climate chaos. We’re pulling out all the stops to prevent Trump and Republicans in Congress from destroying our planet -- but we can’t do this without you.
A donation of $5 a month will help us stop Trump and Congress’s attacks on our planet. Donate now and support the environmental resistance to Trump!

Standing with you,
Marcie Keever,
Legal director,
Friends of the Earth
