Despite conservative rhetoric, the Oregon campus where the tragic shooting happened yesterday was not a gun free zone -- and there was even a 'good guy with a gun' on campus at the time of the massacre. The Vatican has clarified that Pope Francis' meeting with Kim Davis should not be considered an endorsement. Everyone is outraged about the new 'people-rating app,' but not only is it completely legal, it may be the "next level of social media interaction." |

Silicon Valley’s Newest App Is Likely To Aid Bigots, Destroy Privacy |
The internet is ablaze with rage over the prospect of a people-rating app that may come to iPhone users this fall. Peeple is the brainchild of co-founders Nicole McCullough and Julia Cordray, and would allow users to give honest feedback on people they encounter through romantic hook-ups, business connections, or just casual acquaintances. ...(read more) |

| Dear Stjepan,
Many conservatives are facing the brutal reality of a culture that undermines their Faith and destroys their values. That is why many say the only thing to be done is to admit defeat and strategically retreat into close-knit communities in which they might intensify their Christian Faith. Read my article that explains clearly that this is not a viable option and what we must do.
Read the result of a signature campaign that was done in 178 countries asking His Holiness Pope Francis to affirm 2,000 years of Catholic doctrine about the family in the upcoming synod and to dispel the confusion caused by liberals regarding divorcees, the remarried and same-sex unions.
Finally, read an excellent analysis of juvenile development by G. Daniel Harden, Ph.D, explaining how children may be unable to react to the wonders of the natural world as a result of frequent exposure to intense but artificial stimuli.
