LinkedIn is not known to be particularly user-friendly, and I think most of you will agree, that it at least needs a revamp. And in this day and age, with most other social platforms constantly spitting out improvements, the least one could do, is update the way that users communicate. So, LinkedIn just did that, rolling out a brand new messaging …

It was almost 2 years ago: Instagram announced its new in-app messaging service, Instagram Direct. But the truth is that, once the "wow" effect slowly disappeared, nothing really happened around this new "messaging" service. In fact, almost no one has been using it (although Instagram claims 85 million people do so.) But messaging is the big thing lately in the …

Brush on Block is a mineral sunscreen for the whole family, in powder form. The self-dispensing brush is mess-free and easy to take with you, holding a cartridge of SPF 30 powder inside—a couple of shakes and you’re ready to apply. When you run out, just refill the brush. Naturally occurring minerals like titanium dioxide and zinc oxide protect skin. And botanicals like chamomile and green tea extracts enrich, soothe, and replenish it. Because there’s no tint, you can wear it under makeup or over. Creator Susan Posnick is a beauty and skincare expert—the personal makeup artist to Mary Kay and other celebrities, Susan has her own cosmetic line. But when she was diagnosed with melanoma, she discovered her true calling. Today she’s a skin health advocate making better ways to protect your skin, like Brush on Block. |

Q: I've very interested in these, since every pair of earbuds I've ever tried have hurt the insides of my ears. How padded is the wire that wraps behind the ear? Is it easy to manipulate to fit the shape of the ear? Thanks! |
Steph |
A: The wire is infinitely adjustable, you can bend it as much or as little as needed to fit the curve of your ear. It is totally customizable. It really helps to use a mirror at first. It took me a few tries the first time around to get the fit just right, but now that I'm used to the motion and the fit, I can put my Bedphones on quickly and comfortably just as easily as I can slip in a pair of earbuds. |

Q: Hi, I am wondering about my sleeping partner hearing sound from the Bedphones. Are they silent to others around the person wearing? |
Steph |
A: Hey Laurie - yes, when I wear my Bedphones at night, my partner can't hear my music (even when he's big spoon!). This might depend on how loud you listen to your music, and on how quiet your room is at night. But at low-to-normal volumes, in a quiet room, they can only be heard by the wearer. |

In It IS About Islam, #1 bestselling author and radio host Glenn Beck exposes the real truth behind the roots of Islamic extremism in Muslim teachings in this sharply insightful handbook that debunks commonly held assumptions about Islam and the dream of a renewed caliphate. |

From the barbarians of ISIS to the terror tactics of Al-Qaeda and its offshoots, to the impending threat of a nuclear Iran, those motivated by extreme fundamentalist Islamic faith have the power to endanger and kill millions. The conflict with them will not end until we face the truth about those who find their inspiration and justification in the religion itself. - See more here. Former vice president Dick Cheney and former deputy assistant secretary of state Liz Cheney tell the story of the unique role America has played as freedom’s defender since World War II. Theyexplain how presidents from Truman to Bush and from Roosevelt to Reagan safeguarded American power and pre-eminence. They reveal the damage done by President Obama’s determination to diminish America’s role in the world, and they show how America can and must lead again.
For seventy years, America has been an unmatched force for the defense of freedom, peace, and security around the globe. Republican and Democratic presidents alike have recognized that although this has cost us dearly, the cost of the alternative—a world in which America’s adversaries lead—would be far higher. At a time of increasing threats to the nation, President Obama has abandoned this seventy-year bipartisan tradition. Working to diminish America’s role in the world, he has abandoned America’s allies, appeased our adversaries, and apologized for this great nation.
For more than four remarkable decades as a public servant, Dick Cheney has played a key role in shaping history. He is an unapologetic advocate for strong American leadership on the world stage. He has led in warning about the damage being caused by President Obama’s national security policies, from the president’s rollback of programs that kept us safe after 9/11 to his willingness to make concessions that ensure Iran will obtain a nuclear weapon. In this provocative new book, Cheney and his daughter Liz, a renowned national security and Middle East policy expert, explore how Obama has drastically broken with the bipartisan foreign policy consensus that propelled America to victory in World War II, the Cold War, and the first decade of the War on Terror. Together they make a firm and compelling case that the president’s unwillingness to safeguard American power has diminished our ability to adequately defend our nation, our allies, and our interests.
The Cheneys do what no one before them has done: chart a path forward to restoring American strength, illuminating the steps necessary to defend against the growing threats to our nation, defeat militant Islam, rebuild the U.S. military, and preserve America’s pre- eminence. For the 2016 election and beyond,Exceptional is a frank and much-needed touchstone, a guiding light that explains why America has been, and must continue to be, freedom’s defender.
